Northwest filed for bankruptcy. FYI, Northwest was the employer of both my parents. So, in my unlearned estimation, this means all sorts of bad things.
It's tough to say. Northwest previously claimed it would leave pensions alone, I think, but no one really believes them. Also, I imagine stocks have gone completely to hell.
